Messages from London
Hello there, I'm so glad you stopped by!
Pull up a chair, grab a cup of tea, and have a listen while I tell you about my trip to London in the middle of May of 2017....
Since I am retired I have plenty of time to travel these days and decided to venture from my Colorado home to explore London. And, while I was flying across the pond, I figured I might as well start in Scotland. So, I did! I had previously been on three Rick Steves tours and I just made it five...
Being a baby boomer I am not very prolific with social media but I was able to write regular emails home to friends and family. Those messages sent back to the states form the bulk of this scrapbook along with an edited group of photos I took. I chose not to include the pictures of the interior of my pocket and the selfies from an angle that features nostrils. Hope you don't mind the omissions. I am including the one of me in the blue jacket with the hunky dude in a red coat and beehive hat. I saw his cousins in several places in England.
At the end of the tour I shared with my tourmates a little poem I wrote about our shared experience. A copy of this is on the last tab of this scrapbook.
If you want more info on this tour, check it out here:
Or, if you want to see some of my other adventures, here are links to my previous scrapbooks:
I hope you enjoy my view of the London and the tour. If you want to chat with me, send me a few words in the "Message to Martha" section on the last page. Then you will get an email message of your own from me!
